Zeera rice

2cups basmathi rice
1/2cup onions
2 cinnamon
1 biryani leave
1tb spoon zeera/cumin seeds
4or5 cashew
1tbspoon ghee/vegetable oil
PREPARATION:
1)wash the rice and add water 1:11/2 ratio rice:water, keep aside
2) fry cahews with ghee and keep aside
3) use tha same pan, add onions, after 2mins fry add cinnamon, zeera, biryani leave, birayani flower(I don’t know the actual name though, it look like black flower shape) then fry all until onion turn to golden color then add this mixture to uncooked rice, add cashew, salt, stir the mixture then cook rice.
4) Zeera rice is ready, eat zeera rice with alu kurma or raitha. I prefer with any type of raitha.

Capsikum rice

onion – 1/2 cup
capsikum – 2
rice – 3 cups
vangi bath mix powder – 1/2 spoon
chekka – 3 pieces
popu ingredients – zinger, etc
ground nut powder – 1/2 spoon
coconut – 1 spoon
curry leaves – 4
lemon juice – optional

put popu/tadka, add curry leaves, chekka, onion fry it until onion turn into golden color, then add chopped capsikum to that add little water, cook it for about 7mins with closed lid. Don’t over cook capsikum. Then add coconut, ground nut powder, vangy bath powder (you can use any mixed rice spice powder, I added this its very tasty). After adding all, keep that on stove for about 1 min then add this mixture to cooked rice. Oops I forgot to add salt to mixture before removing that from stove. otherwise it wont tastes gud. Yep Capsikum rice is ready.

Ravva Kesari

sooji/bombay ravva – 11/2 cup
sugar – 1 cup
milk – 21/2 cups
ghee – little
cashew/badam – depending on ur interest
yalachhi powder – little
heat milk upto 5mins then add sugar to that keep heating the milk another 5mins.
paralelly take a pan and put ghee and heat it, once the ghee is melted add ravva to that and fry ravva for about 3 to 4 mins/ it turns to light golden color. keep aside.
once milk is heated up and sugar in that melted completely then add ravva to that, keep mixing once the ravva added to avoid ravva clots.
Add yalachhi powderr, cashew, badam to that mix. spread ghee on plate and put that mix on the plate spred it evenly and cut it into cakes.
Sweet Ravva kesari is ready.
